There’s immense hype for KGF Chapter-2. Many times we have seen that sequels don’t live up to the expectations because people compare them to prequels and have set really high expectations. But KGF chapter 2 lives up to the expectation and justifies all hypes around it. Some might get disappointed and some might be overwhelmingly happy. Personally, I loved the movie a lot.
Story Line- This story is the story of a mother’s insistence, the mother who learns to fight her son with the world, the mother who wants her son to come out of poverty and rule the whole world. And to fulfill that stubbornness, that son crosses every limit.
Here is the thing I liked about the film
Performances – Every actor in this film has given a praiseworthy performance. Yash as Rocky Bhai nailed it yet again. Yash as Rocky is a character that will stay with the audience in the years to come – loaded with swag & heroism, he is a beast, and his style and attitude were all on a different level altogether. Raveena Tandon as Ramika Sen has mesmerized me. Her intent, dialogue delivery, and the way she carried herself in the movie are phenomenal. Sanjay has played a perfect antagonist and yes can’t think of anyone but Sanjay Dutt as Adheera, a worthy opponent to larger- than life aura of Rocky. And yes, no one can walk the way #Dutt does! Other characters were superb too. Sreenidhi Shetty, Achyuth Kumar, Prakash Raj, and every other character were very good.
Background score and cinematography – BGM was one of the major highlights of the first part and here the BGM is exceptional too. The color palette used in this film transforms and takes you to the KGF world. The color correction and camera work in this film are truly world-class.
Action – This time makers have done a better job and the action sequences are bigger and better. The slow-mo set pieces really elevate the sequences.
The story, screenplay, and direction – The first part was good but Yash looked invincible and I felt that his character was missing depth and doesn’t have any suitable antagonist. Chapter 2 takes the story forward and has all elements which were there in Chapter 1 and at the same, it also shows different shades of Rocky. It has an antagonist who can really challenge Rocky. Rocky is not invincible anymore he too has emotions and he is surrounded by many characters who don’t want him to succeed. His life is full of troubles and how he faces them all and tries his best to hold KGF. Director Prashanth has done a commendable job and lives up to the expectations. The movie moves at a fast pace and Prashanth has stylized each frame in such a way that you feel like you are watching a spectacle. Though the movie is nearly 3 hours long it will keep you hooked.

If you want to watch this movie for entertainment purposes then yes, the film is entertainment, entertainment, and entertainment with lots of action thrills, drama, great dialogue, and a little bit of romance too.
Overall, it’s a very good movie. It’s indeed above expectations due to the scale and action.
And, one shouldn’t definitely miss the post-credits scene.
According to the hype of KKGF 2, it has to be seen which records this film records its name. And whether this film is able to break the Pan India record of Bahubali or not.
